Throughout the 1990s, Ken developed skills in business management and leadership through education at Seneca College, Algonquin College, and the Canadian Police College, while serving as a police detective. In 2000, Ken founded KPLJ Investments, an independent finance and mortgage origination company, and led a dynamic team responsible for the funding of over $300 million in residential and commercial mortgages over a 4 year period. In 2002, Ken entered the direct-selling industry. For more than a decade, he traveled the world, building teams and teaching sales and marketing strategies. Ken has been personally responsible for building teams that have resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue for their associated companies.
Ken self-published his first book, Being the Change, which has sold over 100,000 copies. His second book, The Most Important Minute, met even greater success. By the time Ken partnered with three colleagues to publish his third book, MLM CPR, Ken was starting to see a flaw in the self-publishing business world. In 2012, while studying at his home in Toronto, Canada, Ken began lamenting over the virtualization of books and the millions of legacies that would be lost. The vision for Next Century Publishing was born!
As NCP’s founder and CEO, Ken is focused on leading a team that is committed to changing the book-selling industry and providing the highest level of service and support in the publishing industry. NCP is a customer-driven company that prides itself on successfully meeting its authors’ needs and goals.
